What do I know about perspectives?

Comments

  1. Perspectives are the opinions which people have towards ideas or subjects. I know that perspectives usually tend to differ depending on your personal experience, network, opportunities, etc. Anything can affect your perspective. Sometimes certain experiences can alter your perspective drastically, like a strongly based argument or rebuttal. Perspective can also change the way you see problems, or approach arguments, and can strongly affect your beliefs and ideology.

  2. What I know about perspectives is that they may vary depending of a person. Behind a perspective there is a whole background of values and morals that make you have that perspective. It is very important to try and be as less bias as possible in order to open yourself to new perspectives and teachings. Media can also change your way of looking towards things. Media often manipulates what you see in order to change your perspective and make you be bias of something that if your probably knew all the story you would change your mind. Perspectives have a whole story behind them, it is important to learn about them in order to not be tricked.

  3. Everyone has a a different perspective because perspective depends on each person's point of view. Perspective can change the judgement of people. It can make someone look bad or good. A person's perspective is molded by their experiences throught their life and can change with time as well. Perspectives are what make movies masterpieces to some and gargbage to others. Nonetheless, there are things that cannot be changed by perspective.

A perspective is the point of view or opinion a person has about a certain topic. Every person can have a different view about a certain topic which they can back up with evidence and other arguments in order to try and prove the other person's opinion as wrong or incorrect. The perspective of a person can change if someone presents good quality evidence or convincing arguments in order to persuade that person to think like they do.

  5. A perspective is the point of view someone may have in a situation. You can have five different people all read the same article and everyone's perspective and thoughts regarding it will vary. This is because everyone thinks differently. Depending on the different situations you may have experienced your perspective will change. You can even change perspective after hearing or knowing new things. Your perspective can be altered by any bias or previous knowledge you may have. It is important to try and look at the different perspectives in any situation.

  6. Throughout my summer assignment, I learned about the importance of taking into account multiple perspectives in order to have a better well thought argument. If you put yourself through the lens of different perspectives, your argument will be stronger and harder to refute or counterargument. In addition, it is important to take into account the thoughts and evidence behind a perspective to know its validity. I also continued to learn about this last week during class when we got into groups and discussed a certain topic.

  7. Perspectives are point of views in which someone has a position regarding a discussion, idea, or topic. In order to convince someone that your perspective is right, there is a certain procedure you need to follow in order to make it strong enough to be sustained and not opposed by another person. Your perspective needs to have a clear, non confusing idea supported by evidence to strengthen your point of view. However, when having a perspective you need to be cautious of any counterarguments that might affect or manipulated your perspective.

  8. In order to convey the reader of a well argumented statement we must address counter arguments as well as incorporate contrasting perspectives from distinct standing points. Some topics posses more controversy than others, for instance death penalty or abortion are well-known taking points that contain different opinions. Perspectives are oftenly affected by one’s bias or personal beliefs and can also be created depending on how they perceive a topic or their side of a story.

  9. I know that points of view can vary depending on the perspectives of a situation. perspectives are parts of a story, you may know some or only one part and make conclusions about the whole situation. It's important to get to know as many perspectives from a story as you can to create a concussion that is accurate to the real version. I also know that perspectives can change a solution in an issue.
